FEES
We will always endeavour to tailor our charges for legal services to suit the particular needs of our client. We can offer clients fees based on a time incurred basis, a fixed fee basis or in certain areas fees calculated on a “no-win, no fee” basis. We are obliged under our professional rules to provide price and service information on our websites in relation to certain areas of practice. The relevant services provided by our firm are as follows:
- Residential conveyancing. Although our firm undertakes residential conveyancing occasionally for established clients of the firm (or referred clients from established clients of the firm) we no longer undertake residential conveyancing for the general public.
- Probate. We are prepared to undertake probate work either on an agreed fixed fee basis or alternatively on agreed hourly rate basis. Current charge out rates (as at December 2018) are as follows: Michael Lee-£325 per hour plus VAT. Emma Phillips- £195 per hour plus VAT. We will endeavour to ensure that the appropriate work on your matter is allocated to the appropriate level of fee earner. The probate services offered are set out in more detail under the “Wills and Probate” section of our website.
- Debt Recovery. We are prepared to undertake debt recovery work either on an agreed fixed fee basis, a “no collection, no fee” basis calculated on the amount of the debt recovered or alternatively an agreed hourly rate basis. Current charge out rates (as at December 2018) are as follows: Michael Lee-£325 per hour plus VAT. Emma Phillips- £195 per hour plus VAT. We will endeavour to ensure that appropriate work on your matter is allocated to the appropriate level of fee earner.
